A short notice was issued by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department Government of West Bengal on 27th February regarding vacancies for multiple posts. The WB Gram Panchayat Recruitment will take place at the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti, and Zilla Parishad levels in West Bengal.

It is mandatory to have completed Higher Secondary education and a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. Additionally, a computer diploma is required.
Candidates should be at least 18 years old and the maximum age limit to apply for the West Bengal Gram Panchayat is 40 years. The age will be calculated as of 1 January 2024.
WB Gram Panchayat Selection process
The selection process for the upcoming recruitment is expected to consist of a Written Exam followed by a Skill Test/Interview.
The first step of the selection process is the Written Exam. This exam will assess the candidates’ knowledge and skills for the job. It will test their understanding of the subject matter and their ability to analyze and solve problems.
Those who successfully pass the Written Exam will move on to the second stage, which includes a Skill Test. The Skill Test will assess the candidates’ practical abilities and job-specific skills. This stage will test the candidates’ ability to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical setting and will evaluate their ability to perform tasks that are directly related to the job.
The final stage of the selection process is the Interview. At this stage, recruiters will assess the candidates’ communication skills, personality, and suitability for the position. They will evaluate the candidates’ ability to work in a team, their interpersonal skills, and overall suitability for the job.
