Education Qualification:- Chief Hydrographer (CH)
- At least 10 years experience in the Hydrographer Bench of the Indian Navy in the rank of Captain.
- Must be a Corporate Member of the Institute of Surveyors (India) or equivalent accepted by Govt. of India
- Experience on river waterways is desirable.
Period of Deputation:
The officer shall be on deputation for a period of 3 years from the date of taking over charge of the post which is extendable to 2 years. However, in exceptional circumstances, this may be extended up to 2 years, with the consent of the lending organization.
Pay Scale:- Rs.1,00,000 – 2,60,000/- at SMP, Kolkata
