At the Ambanis’ Mumbai residence, Antilia, a sumptuous Mameru ceremony marked the beginning of the spectacular pre-wedding festivities. In the Gujarati ritual known as the Mameru ceremony, the bridegroom’s maternal uncle bestows blessings upon the couple along with presents and candies, including jewelry and sarees.

Nita Ambani’s family attended the event to bless the pair and give them gifts and candies, including her mother Purnima Dalal and sister Mamata Dalal.
Anant’s uncles and their families presented him and Radhika with customary presents, including clothing, jewelry, and candies, during the Mameru ceremony. Apart from Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant’s uncle also presented them with gifts and candies.
Prior to the wedding festivities at Antilia officially starting, the Ambani family arranged a mass wedding, Samuh Vivah, for more than fifty impoverished couples from the Palguar region of Maharashtra.
Eight hundred people, including the couple’s relatives and social workers, attended the mass wedding ceremony at the Reiance Corporate Park.
Mukes Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, and other family members attended the mass wedding ceremony. Daughter Isha Ambani and husband Anand Piramal, and son Akash Ambani and wife Shloka Mehta. At the event, couples who tied knots received meaningful presents as well. The brides were presented with gold decorations, which included nose rings, anklets, toe rings, and silver ornaments, as well as Mangalsutra. Every bride received silver jewelry like anklets and toe rings, as well as gold ornaments like nose rings, wedding bands, and mangalsutra. Additionally, a check for ₹1.1 lakh was given to them as a “stree dhan.”
